Adelaide researchers win DART grants

Five University of Adelaide researchers have won funding for new research projects on one of Australia's biggest health problems, diabetes. The 2012 Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART) awards held recently saw more than $2.8 million in diabetes research grants presented to academics from across Australia.  University of Adelaide researchers won five of the grants, totalling more than $362,000. Professor Julie Owens, Professor Jennifer Couper, Associate Professor Leonie Heilbronn, Dr Yeesim Khew-Goodall and Dr Lisa Moran were the UA grant recipients.
