Former dean of arts at a regional NSW university Professor Sandy Thomas is for the first time attending Incoholics Anonymous (IA) – an organisation concerned with workers in the corporate sector who have become addicted to income generation.

  1. It seems crazy that we are sacking academics across the entire university system while Australia continues to rake in the money from the mining industry. And this at a time when the participation in tertiary education is supposed to be significantly increased, and while regional neighbors like China, Taiwan and Singapore are pouring huge sums into education, research and development. Is Canberra completely blind to all of this?
