Student doctor rockers play for degrees

While I support anything that will reduce suicide, my concern with this well-meant initiative is that it risks taking some of the focus off the inhumane working conditions that doctors at all levels have to contend with thus making individuals responsible for what is largely a structural problem. If you are a junior doctor working 16-plus hour days then even with the best will in the world, it will be difficult (to say the least) to find time for personal activities. The health system is broken and badly needs fixing.
