‘Gonski for universities’ legislation passes through parliament
After 42 amendments, the Universities Accord Bill will enshrine needs-based funding and managed growth funding, Education Minister Jason Clare announced
The federal government has secured passage of its “Gonski for universities” legislation, aimed at helping more Australians access higher education, particularly students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds.
