Higher education gender pay gap remains despite improvements

The sector gap average is 5.6 per cent for median total remuneration and 4.7 per cent for median base salary

Universities still pay men more than women even though their workforce is majority women, new Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) data shows.
