Australia needs new infrastructure. Now. Over the next 25 years, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane collectively will need to accommodate an extra 5.9 million people.

  1. Unfortunately federal and state govenments are so focussed on idealogical and political aspects of infrastructure. We need governments and opposition parties focussing on long-term infrastructure projects in both cities and country public transport needs to be a high priority. I am really sick and tired of politicians and their self-interests. In some scandanavian countries they practise bipartisan politics to the benefit of all.

    I have paid taxes for over 40 years I want to see that money be spent in better ways.

    We could have superannuation invested in funds that are dedicated to infrastructure projects instead of governments double dipping and changing superannuation. After all the money saved in superannuation is not the governments it belongs to the people who are saving for their retirement.
