ASQA CEO: Sector needs rigorous enforcement

  1. Robinson does not address the enormous variability in auditor opinion and process. I am currently writing an audit rectification for FSK at the literacy non-reader level where an auditor deems it essential to have written student instructions. The same application has passed through without comment by other auditors of other RTOs. Consistency is a key feature of valid assessments at the RTO level but does not appear to matter at the ASQA level. Robinson promised ASQA would be ISO 9000 compliant in his first annual plan. It has never happened.
