Professor Brian Schmidt from ANU has told a summit of world leaders the COVID-19 pandemic offers a “once-in-a-generation” chance to reset industry and the economy as we face an even bigger fight – climate change.

As a christian, I think its very important to steward the earth God has given us, which to me means caring for the environment, using it in a renewal way, not using chemicals and depleting the soil, raising animals humanely, etc. but I don’t agree with the underlying philosophy of some (if not all) the climate change narrative.
I think scientism is the philosophy that would describe what I’m talking about. Would love to hear some other points of view on this?
Agreed, Tim. And all along I was thinking that universities promoted critical thinking, but everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon and silencing alternate points of view, and yes, even scientific evidence that shows different data.
Sometimes we find exactly what we are looking for, the problem is that we are not open to looking at other things.
Not interested in hearing any more about the supposed Great Reset or the hype around climate ’emergency’.
