Macquarie degrees withdrawn, students on probation after MyMaster probe

Macquarie University has withdrawn the degrees of two former graduates, and prevented a further 10 current students from graduating, following an inquest into academic fraud.

  1. Some universities today develop blended learning strategies, which will not only deliver subjects’ content on-line, but also increase the weight of on-line assessments (e.g. quizzes). In the light of the recent cheating scandals one should be very suspicious of graduates whose degrees relied on blending learning.
