The bottom line for e-learningDo educators and business people share the same view of e-learning, asks John Mitchell. Over the past decade Australian VET has actively investigated e-learning from the perspectives of policy, theory and pedagogy, but not so much from the point of view of how business wants e-learning delivered. This gap in the research was identified several years ago by Mark Lee of Charles Sturt University, who decided to approach the national network of e-learning professionals, ElNet, with the bold proposal to establish an international, peer-reviewed journal on applied research in workplace e-learning....
