Coalition policy still sketchyA Coalition government would not radically alter the current higher education policy agenda, says Senator Brett Mason. The federal Coalition would wrest regulation of higher education institutions from the states to ensure the national agency TEQSA alone dealt with issues of regulation and quality assurance. It would also advocate for a flexible quality assurance system and "would not burden the sector unduly when it is not needed or justified".
