Low funding and state differences plague the PPPPublic and private peak bodies both say funding arrangements and jurisdictional differences are damaging the PPP. Most TAFEs and many private VET providers say funding rates under the Productivity Places Program (PPP) are too low to cover quality courses, according to submissions to a mid-term review of the program. And both the public and private peak groups say the PPP needs to fund additional bridging services for unemployed people, and that administrative differences among the states and territories are making the program almost unworkable.
