There is still work to be done in aligning practice requirements of professional healthcare bodies and the higher education standards needed to receive a degree. Many qualifications require accreditation by professional bodies and the advent of TEQSA and in particular the AQF has brought into sharp focus the different quality assurance paradigms operating within professional accreditation and higher education.
