‘Meet our demands or our actions will intensify’: student agitator behind USYD occupation

Dylan Griffiths is the education officer for the University of Sydney Students Representative Council. He’s currently a lead instigator of an occupation protest at the Sydney College of the Arts (SCA), which has been the centre of a merger and relocation controversy the past few months. Originally, the University of Sydney wanted to combine with the University of New South Wales to create a new arts and design school at a new facility. After this plan was scrapped, USYD then announced that the SCA would be moved from its traditional Kirkbride campus in Rozelle to the uni’s main site between Glebe and Newtown.
