UTS appoints Benn to Chair in Sustainable Enterprise

Professor Suzanne Benn has been appointed to the newly created chair in sustainable enterprise at the business school of the University of Technology, Sydney. Establishment of the chair reflects a trend being seen among North American and European business schools where focused, innovative research is supporting the corporate sector in adopting responsible and environmentally sustainable business practice. UTS Dean of Business Professor Roy Green said the chair would build on the ground-breaking work of Professor Dexter Dunphy and would create linkages across disciplines within UTS and externally with other universities, sectors and corporations. Benn’s current research ranges across corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility, business education for sustainability and organisational change and development for sustainability. Her academic publications include three books and numerous refereed journal articles, book chapters and refereed conference papers.
